If you are working on time-critical projects, we'd recommend staying with your current operating system for the time being. We strongly recommend checking with each manufacturer if your software and hardware will work with the new operating system. If you plan to upgrade to OS X 10.10, please be aware that there's always a risk that a new operating system introduces unforeseen problems or incompatibilities with your DAW, third party plug-ins (VST / AU), hardware drivers or other software tools you are using. You can download the latest Max version from your User Account or from the Cycling 74 website. There are currently no known issues with the latest version, Max 6.1.9. ![]() Is Max for Live compatible with OS X 10.10? While it is possible that it may run, Live 8 is not officially tested or supported on OS X 10.10. Live 8 is a legacy version and there no plans to update is further. NOTE: For those using third party software or hardware in conjunction with Live, it is imperative to check with each manufacturer to make sure that there are no known issues with upgrading to OSX 10.10. In case you are experiencing problems with ReWire please download our current Live 9.1.6 beta from our Centercode bug tracking system.
